Polypropylene Corrugated Plastic Sheet.

We are one of the leading manufacturers of Polypropylene Corrugated Plastic Sheets in the U.A.E and GCC. We also manufacture waterproof membrane boards. With our state of the art European machines we can produce sheets/boards in various sizes and thickness, to suit the needs of the construction industry.

Polypropylene Corrugated Plastic Sheet is comprised of two outer layers and a vertical flute connecting these two surfaces. This design is specially constructed to protect Marble and Granite tiles.

Polypropylene is a linear hydrocarbon polymer and it is one of the most versatile polymers available with applications, both as a plastic and as a fiber.

It is an economical material that offers a combination of outstanding physical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties not found in any other thermoplastic.

Applications of Corrugated Plastic Sheet:

Temporary Wall and Floor ProtectionNEW IDEA

  • Corrugated Plastic Sheets can be fixed on the walls and floors to protect any surface.
  • It also has impact resistance, which prevents the tiles from damages and scratches caused by objects in contact with its surface.
  • Being lightweight, plastic sheets can be easily applied on ceramic / tile surface and cut into the required sizes and shapes.

Waterproof Membrane Protection

Best Choice manufactures polypropylene protection boards which are used by construction companies in replacement of screed. It is usually a polypropylene based board, semi flexible and double layered with integrated vertical support spacers intervals. These plastic boards are attached to bituminous and/or rubber waterproof membrane protection. We can manufacture any size/thickness required and all technical data sheets are available upon request.

Advantages of Waterproof Membrane Protection:

  • Cost and time saver, as it replaces bituminous membrane application which is an expensive and time consuming process.
  • It is a shock absorber, crack resistant under extreme pressure, and is also resistant to most chemicals.
  • It does not absorb water which adds to the impermeability of the waterproof membrane. In addition, it does not rust, corrode, or rot.

Advertising and Printing

We manufacture and supply Polypropylene sheets that are used in promotional media, from large advertising posters to customized cards, sign boards, exhibition boards, shop window displays, pop-up displays, and digital printing etc. We also manufacture and supply PP Corona treated sheets for printing applications to the printing industry. All sheets are electro statically treated by the corona machine to allow special inks & adhesives to adhere on to the sheet. We ensure the quality of the sheets through our quality control team which tests the sheets on various parameters to provide maximum client satisfaction. Our products are highly recommended amongst our clients due to their excellent wear and tear resistance. All our sheets are UV stabilized for indoor and outdoor applications.

Pallet Partitioning

Polypropylene sheets are also used as divider boards for the food & beverage industry and also for general packing purposes.
The sheets used in pallet packing can aid in reducing the breakage rate while transporting and packing fragile items such as glass bottles etc.

Cost of Polypropylene Sheets Over Plywood & Polythene Sheet

Save 315% with Polypropylene Sheets!

The total cost of Plywood 6mm and Polythene Sheet 1000 gauge is AED14.89/m2.

Find the computation below:

Plywood 6mm costs AED 38.00, size: 1.20cm x 2.40 cm (2.88 m2) = AED13.19/m2

Polythene Sheet 1000 gauge costs AED68.00, size: 3.60m x 11m (40m2) = AED1.70/m2

After adding the labor and cleaning charges, the amount computes to AED 18.39/m2 where as Polypropylene Sheets will only cost 5.83/m2.

Advantages:
  • Economical Price for Quality Product – If Plywood was re-used three times, it would cost to AED 6.13/m2. Thus, even when re-using Plywood up to three times, Polypropylene sheets are still more cost effective.
  • Easier to Fix - Appling plywood requires special equipment and carpenters unlike Polypropylene sheets which is very easy to apply and remove.
  • Waterproof - Since it is waterproof, there is no possibility of water leakage on the ceramic or tiles; however, plywood bends and deforms if water leakage occurs.
  • Prevents Damages and/or Scratches - Plywood is compact and hard. If something falls on it, the force is transmitted through the plywood and damages the ceramic/tiles. However, the corrugation of the Polypropylene sheets provides resistance to any force applied to it.
  • Lightweight – Compared to Plywood, Polypropylene sheets can be easily applied on ceramic/tiles and cut into the required sizes and shapes.

Advantages of Polypropylene Sheets

  • Waterproof – This is a unique feature of the product as it can be used to protect stairs, bathtubs, and swimming pools etc.
  • Saves Time - It is very light and this makes it easy to fix & remove using adhesive tape.
  • Flexible - It can be easily fabricated and reshaped according to the customers’ preference.
  • Impact Resistance - It has a high impact resistance property that aids it to handle heavy objects or machines during the finishing stage of construction work.
  • High Tensile Strength - Its working temperature and tensile strength is superior to low or high density polyethylene.
  • Economical - It can be re-used up to 4 times, hence saving time, cost and effort.
  • Recyclable - Being "green", it is 100% recyclable.
  • Chemical Resistance – It has a chemical resistance against alkalis, acids & salts even at higher temperatures.
  • Thermal Insulator – Polypropylene can withstand temperatures up to 70ₒC, therefore reducing heat transfer through walls and doors.
